Our guest speaker this month is Jim Vernon, the Chief Mechanical/Plumbing Inspector for the Pikes Peak Regional Building Department (PPRBD). Jim will be bringing us up to date on the implementation, in August, of the 2011 PPRBD Building Code, including  some issues the RBD is running into in plan reviews and in the field. Jim will also be presenting the implications to our industry and how PPRBD is handling Chapter 4, Ventilation; and Chapter 6, Residential Duct Design of the 2009 International Mechanical Code.
